Exciting News! Our students at Stratford Hill have a new playground. The Vickery Meadow community is a large diverse apartment based community with a lack of playspace for the children. Heart House wants to provide such a space to keep children safe and further our mission of providing safety, education and opportunity for our students. New Stratford Hill Playground
This before picture of Stratford Hill across from the playground area provides a glimpse into the transformation in the area. There were 244 volunteers on Build Day, who were able to build a brand new playspace for Heart House and the Stratford Hill community in a little over six hours.
Thanks to our amazing partners KaBOOM! , Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Pallas Realty and all of our amazing staff, volunteers and the media who joined us in helping to build a beautiful playground.
